So whats happening in the Crofton marketplace? Sales are still on the rise in the detached home sale market with a 25% increase noted from the previous month. Closing assistance was given in 10 out of the 20 sales in June from a low of $5,000 to a high of $19,000. Detached Crofton homes are selling, on average, for 96.95% of asking price.
The attached or townhouse/condo market saw a drop in sales for the month. The number of homes under contract has risen dramatically though. Closing assistance was given in 12 of the 15 sales. Townhouses and condos, on average, are selling for 95.32% of their asking price.
