Edgewater is located just 10 minutes south of Annapolis and is home to Historic Lond Town and Gardens. Offering homes in all styles and sizes, residents like it's easy proximity to Annapolis and commuter routes to Washington DC. Edgewater offers many communities with water access plus ease of shopping and dining. Home prices range from $135,000 for a 600 sq. ft. cottage to $3,199,000 for a 9,000 sq. ft. waterfront haven.
So what is happening in the Edgewater marketplace?
In 2012 Edgewater saw a 11% increase in home sales overall.
The banks seem to be working with home sellers as short sales increased from 22 in 2011 to 40 in 2012.
Foreclosures dropped from 33 in 2011 to 21 in 2012.
As for month over month, inventory is picking up a bit with a 6% increase over Decembers inventory levels.
Sales rose by 1 month over month.
