Deale A Little Fishing Village Kind Of Town

Charter Fishing Deale MDAs a small child growing up in Annapolis I would often hear stories of my Dad and his friends 'going fishing'. This was not just any kind of fishing. No siree. It was renting a charter fishing boat and hitting the Chesapeake Bay for rock fish kind of fishing. And the place Dad always headed to for his charter boat excursion was Deale Md.

Located in the southern end of Anne Arundel County and a mear 30 minutes from Annapolis sits this small yet beautiful area. Surrounded by water, Deale encompasses Rockhold Creek, Parkers Creek and Carrs Creek all of which interact with the Chesapeake Bay.  Rockhold Creek is the area that is home to most of the Charter Boats of the area and is where a day spent fishing for the big rock fish begins.

Time has passed since I was that little girl listening to those big fish stories yet today the charter boats and fishing trips are still as vibrant as years gone by and Deale is still a little fishing village kind of town.

Over the years South County and Deale has been a summer destination sort of place for those living and working in and around Washington DC. Today many of the summer home residents have made South County their permanent year round home.

One of the hidden treasures of Deale and real estate is that it is one of the few places in Anne Arundel County that you can buy a home using USDA financing. Why is that so special? USDA requires no money down, limited income requirements and lower credit scores than most loan requirements now a days. This makes Deale a great place to not only buy your first home but also to create a lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Swinging over Rockhold CreekEverything moves just a little slower in Deale. No hurrys, no worrys....well you know what I mean. Deale is just a nice place to hang your hat and enjoy some of Maryland's and the Chesapeake Bay's great southern hospitality. Bring your boat, a fishing pole and a fish tale or two and enjoy the easy lifestyle.

What a great article about a very special place in Anne Arundel County.  Don't be surprised to find me linking to it someday.

Deale sounds like a very cool town. I had never heard of it, despite living in the DC area for 5 years. I am not a fishing kind of person so that means little to me, but I can why it would appeal to many, on a variety of levels. The USDA financing is a plus.
