Annapolis Md Homes and More: YEP, I'M TRULY PROUD

I'm a very proud grandmother and yes a very proud great grandmother too. They call me Granny by my choosing. Silly isn't it, after all I am only 42 (NOT)!

I have 14 with one more on the way. Each one is so very special to me for reasons only a grandmother knows but the one I am going to share with you today is special because she has given me the greatest compliment of all, she has followed in Granny's foot steps.

Nichole Nichole has actually worked for me for the past 8 years doing behind the scenes type of work. This past year she looked me straight in the eye and said 'I'm going to go for my real estate license so I can work side by side with you Granny. I see how much you enjoy it and I feel the same way so what do you think?

Well needless to say my eyes got wide as saucers and my heart burst with joy. Are you sure Nichole I said? I would love you to work with me, side by side, but are you sure? She was, she is, she did become a Realtor.

Nichole has no thought process as to good markets, bad markets. It's just another great day in real estate to her. Did she possibly get that from her Granny? What she does have is a youthful perspective, an I'm new, I'm ready to take the real estate world by storm kind of energy. How great is that for someone like me who has been a Realtor for 16+ years? Well she has taken my energy level to new heights and quite frankly the weather is just great up here.  You may even see her blogging on Active Rain as she has joined.

Life just keeps getting better every day. Oh, and her son Kyle has joined the ranks of real estate too but all the work seems to tire him out! I'm sure he will get the hang of it as he grows.

Life is Good!

Martha, I can see why you are so proud. Congratulations on being a granny @ 42. I would not have thought you were a day over 38.

Congratulations Martha, I can see why you are so proud.  Love the baby picture, too.  That's really funny.

Danny- Ah you are making me blush. I am 38 in heart and spirit and I guess that is what counts most. Thanks for commenting.

Duane- Thanks. It is great being a Granny. Keeps you young!

Chris-  Thank you. I am very proud. Kyle was working with us one day in the office and fell asleep on the floor so Nichole set the stage and took the photo. Its a keeper for sure. Thanks again.

Aren't they all so very special?  We're working on catching up with you, but we have a ways to go.  Here's an Active Rain introduction to our eighth.  YouTube Debut for Little Miss Indi in Colorado   #9 will make an appearance in Michigan in May, Lord willing.

Thanks for sharing the photo of your little guy.

Great post.  That must be a great feeling to see your granddaughter do what she loves and it turns out it is what you love too.  Sounds like she had a good mentor.

Maybe that son of hers will end up liking it too.  I have raised three children while working, and have worked at home for 8 years now, so that pic. put a familiar smile on my face.

Mike- Thank you for the introduction to your newest addition. She is adorable. No matter how many we are blessed with we just keep falling more in love don't we?

Rebecca- It is a wonderful feeling for sure. Well her husband enjoys it thou he is not licensed yet but.... We work from home as well and once in ahile we have Kyle with us. Certainly brings excitement to the day.

Martha, no!  You have this all wrong!  The young woman in the photo is you daughter!  And you are 42!  A teenage bride!

Margaret- I am sure you will be meeting her soon.

Patricia- Ahhh thank you. She feels like my daughter and I feel 42 so I guess that is all that matters in the scheme of things.
