Annapolis Md Homes and More: So....How Was Your Week? Great I hope

So....How Was Your Week? Great I hope

With Christmas and New Years in the middle of the week this past holiday season it took me to this past Monday to finally get back my normal routine. Of course this is the same week we had the incredible cold and ice take hold. Yes, even over here in Maryland. Frozen lockboxes and heating problems were a definite for this week.

Attended my first Legislative Committe meeting this week along with my first office meeting too. Always interesting to see what the goals and direction are for the committees and for my manager.

Admist all the 'normal' items done everyday I sort of have figured out how my days need to be. Yes I am working a schedule to to get everything done I need done.

Yuk, had a contract fall apart this week too. Never like that to happen and can not remember the last time it did thank goodness. Seems this buyer had been denied time after time by other lenders before he hooked up with the lender he brought me. Of course he never shared that information and i had no way of knowing. Now this lender cant get him to the table either. Such a hrad way for all parties involved to start a new year.

On a personal note I remembered I needed to renew my drivers license. Renewed by this Sunday. I remembered Thursday. Neded vision test and about 3 hours for sitting at DMV between contract negotiations and showing homes. Well I am happy to report I made the deadline with hours to spare. Must be why I love real estate so much. You know... finding solutions and resolving problems.

So that was my week in a nutshell

How was yours??

I have never even heard of a frozen lockbox so I guess I will quit whining about a windchill of 58 degrees down here in Florida!  LOL

Martha

Sounds like a busy week! Good for you to get that license renewal taken care of - don't want THAT to become an issue.

Yep, I, too, am glad to be back to a regular schedule. The holidays were wonderful, especially with our new grandson, but they are busy, with too much food, and so much to do (which is all enjoyable). And it WAS odd having them in mid-week. Back to normal and VERY busy. new listing and 3 substantial referrals.

Mine was similar to yours...and very busy.  So that is a good sign of things to come for this year.

Thanks for asking, Martha. I guess any day I wake up and can fog a mirror is a good day. Means the Lord God still has a purpose for me. As far as the things that take place in each day, well that can be exhilerating or very frustrating.

So I started the week off in bed with the flu and had to cancel all appointments. Then  my computer quit on me and my microwave and vacuum, too.

You asked Martha

It's all good though! I'm working with wonderful clients and we'll catch up on everything on Monday. My desktop needed replacing anyway!

Martha,  Mid-week holidays are definitely tough on the schedule, add in a kid and school closings and it becomes even more hectic!  I have been wonderfully busy too and am working on time blocking to get everything done!

I am so sorry to hear about your contract falling apart!  The good news is that it's done and now opens you up for a great new buyer or seller! NEXT!

All the best for a great week next week!
