Please Excuse Me While I Get Back In The Groove

Getting back in the grooveGoodness, the last blog I did anything with was in October 2014. Not sure why it has been that long. I have always loved AR ever since Margaret Woda introduced me way back when. Yet one day lead to another day and bam!!! Days turned into months. The excuses in my head were many

  • Too busy
  • Hard to think of anything to write
  • Just plain tired
  • AR was always having glitches just when I was ready to start
  • Bored
  • Who is looking anyway

The list was endless..... The list of excuses that is

Then I heard that AR was changing once again. It was being bought by Ben Kinney and that Bob Stewart was coming back and when I heard that I thought..... well if Bob can find his way back to Active Rain then so can I.

So here I am. My first post in 8 months. Gosh I sure hope it does not take too long to get back into the swing of things but if it does

Please Excuse Me While I Get Back In The Groove

Hi Martha Brown I have a feeling that we'll be seeing many of the past members surfacing again....and I can understand why....this has been a roller coaster that has recently become almost "flat line".... needs to be re-energized....

I am sure Barbara. Hopefully we will all re-energize it together!! Looking forward to being on AR once again.

I agree! I really think the AR will be a better bright place to be now... I too have recently returned and am excited about the new positive change in ownership and leadership!

Martha, if there were ever a good reason to come back to blogging in the Rain ... Ben Kinney's purchase and Bob Stewart returning would be it.

Hello Martha, so glad to see you here in the rain, I have been missing also in the last couple of weeks but it is because of to much going on.  Have a good one.

Martha, I haven't been commenting much and my blogging has been sporadic but with Bob's return, you'll see me around more.

Welcome back!

I completely understand about the glitches.  I got the Intermission "curtains" for so long that I just quit trying to log on for a while.

Welcome back. Your wonderful writing was greatly missed! Let's talk soon.

I fall out, and for many a reason as well. I do keep a spread sheet and it helps me keep track, or at least give me a place to glance at and see when I last posted. I also use it to cross reference when I posted on my main site, then copied over to AR for additional Google Power! And of course, you can always looka at your blogging list right here on AR and see when you last posted!

Glad to see you back in the thick of things!

As they used to say on the Extreme Home Makeover Home Addition - Welcome Home!

Debra- I think so too. I have been wanting to come back but nothing was hitting that switch to do so. Until now. :)

Kathleen I totally agree!!

Will you have been way more faithful than me.

Yay Tammie. Me too.

Karen that was me. Everytime I said ok I am going to post and then a glitch would set me back. Errrr. I am sure there will be more glitches but with the right people at the helm I feel more confident that I am where I need to be.

Thank you Margaret and yes lets talk soon. Even lunch or coffee would be a delight.

Thom- I had a spread sheet going too. It really helped with my market reports. I am glad to be back.

Thanks Alan.

Well, if the new ownership brought you back to AR, I am all in favor of the new ownership.
