Annapolis Md Homes and More: Hatching The Arts In Annapolis

Hatching The Arts In Annapolis

Hatching The Arts In Annapolis

What started out as a tongue in cheek project of the Art Council back in 2012 when legislation approved real chickens in peoples backyards around Annapolis has turned into quite the display of chickens, in all their painted finery.

Located along the art cooridor of West St the chickens have each been decorated by local artists. Some say it is pure craziness as Annapolis is known for it's water, sailboats and history. Yet the chickens remain and have become part of the Art District culture of hatching the Arts in Annapolis.

No one knows how long they will remain

but for now they are quite interesting to see.

Martha, too cute, and we have approved chickens around here too, but so far no art displays.
